Sevika (girl with bionic arm) and Smeech (rat looking thing), their fight is probably my second favorite part of this first 3 episode little arc. Awesome music and visuals throughout the fight, and the chaoticness of Jinx's arm replacement is so fun to watch! Enjoyed y'alls reaction, take care.

2025-01-30 05:43:47 +0000 UTCThey have the stuff with Vi looking for Jinx, they have the stuff with Jayce deciding what to ultimately do with Hex Tech. But then they add in the Viktor god complex story, the Noxus invasion, the Black Rose, Echo's current issue with his tree dying, Echo's time travel, Warwick and trying to turn him back, the chem lords fighting for control and then Mel and her powers. It's just way too much to cram into a single season. They don't even pay off half of it by the end. It's all rushed and could have easily been delt with over the course of 3 more seasons. But it felt like they were sitting in their board room and going "Oh! What if we added... and wouldn't it be cool to see.. And I got it, what happens if we do..." And then the next thing you know, you go from 2 story lines to 7 and no time to wrap them up with satisfying conclusions.

2025-01-30 01:42:29 +0000 UTCI disagree in part. S2 is rushed but it only has 1 more storyline than S1 thats clearly just set up for the Noxus show. I think as much as people love Episode 7, it could have been reworked, while changing results of episode 3 and the overall story pacing would be better without cutting out the setup story. Im no lol lore expert but i dont think E7s big twist is setting up any current spinoff and could have been utilized elsewhere in future shows if wanted.

2025-01-29 01:27:45 +0000 UTCSeason 2 is the end of the show, and they don't really give you a satisfying ending. They try to introduce too many storylines into this season. The brilliance of the first season is it had two primary storylines. The Underground folk, and the Piltover folk. That's it. In season two, they introduce more and more and more and none of it really gets the time it deserves.

2025-01-28 07:54:07 +0000 UTCHello! Love your reactions! New member here for the Arcane reactions! I like how Jinx is putting Silco to rest in the waters at the start of the episode. It is the same place where Silco was baptizing her in season 1. This show does a great job doing callbacks from the previous season/episodes. No matter how many times you rewatch each ep you can find a lot of parallels without it being overdone. I hope you also react to future spin-offs as they are all based in the same universe as Arcane. :)

Yes, there is Shimmer in him and the hexcore since he had to use a certain version of it that the doctor gave him in S1 to be able to blend with the hexcore. that's why him and some of his magic is purple when classic hextec is blue.

But like most movies/shows they also have a very big soundtracks, each tracks made by different artists etc. And, unlike most movies/shows, all these titles were also made for the show, and in collab with the artists ( Woodkid, Stromae, 21 pilots,etc) and the production team to fit to it. So yeah, he's actually right to find that pretty cool :)

2025-01-27 20:25:01 +0000 UTCThe music for season 2 was created specifically for Arcane and apparently the reason why the music works so well together with the animation is because the animators worked together with the Artists, makes these epic "fight scenes" and story telling fit so well

2025-01-27 20:04:11 +0000 UTC"The Lincoln crew" lol. Episodes 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9 are the best episodes this season imo. I like seeing Jayce, Heimerdinger, and Ekko becoming a trio. Viktor becoming sort of an anti-hero is cool and I love the religion parallels they do, I do a lot of them in the books I'm writing.
