Hope you guys watch Shin Godzilla in the future. I love both of them but shin really dives into the incompetency of the bureaucratic process

2025-02-26 17:47:48 +0000 UTCCommenting on the review here, The reason they bring the boats so close together is because they had to close the loop of the "belt" for Godzilla. Had to be close, for timing and I guess cinematic effect. The reason Godzilla let them do that and didn't mess with the "belt" was because Shikishima was flying around distracting him. That was like half the reason for him to be in the plane in the first place 😂 firstly to lure him to that specific spot and then to distract him. He wasn't supposed to do that Kamikaze crash in to Godzilla at the end because they didn't want him to die, but obviously that doesn't happen. Eh, I can see why Matt didn't like it that much, but I do honestly believe that some of the great acting moments and good dialogue was missed when Holden and Matt were talking or Matt throwing his whole head back with his eyes closed laughing 😂
