If you ever decide to watch more Star Trek and don’t want to commit to watching everything, I’m happy to put together recommendations that hit the highlights.

Throughout this one, you could see her struggling with it because it was at odds on what she wanted or expected. I've had a similar experience w/ Shaun of the Dead. I love that movie now, that I got over my issue with it. Jen, I think you'll like this better after some time has passed and you get other series under your belt. This movie was a love letter to the fandom. Patrick Stewart, a Shakespearean actor that plays Jean-Luc Picard really didn't want to be part of this show and got annoyed w/ the lack of professionalism. Later he recounts being on Star Trek being a highlight. The Next Generation crew loved Galaxy Quest. Brent Spinner (Data) called the others saying, "This could have been us!" It's said that every even numbered Star Trek movie are the better ones, only if if you include Galaxy Quest in the mix.
