Sometimes good storytelling isn’t about making you feel good. Nobody has ever used the “trope” of the gator in the onsen imagery, that was pure horror shit. Even makes me feel all icky and uncomfortable and I’m a guy. Its good writing, you just gain no joy from it, so you don’t come away feeling good after the episode. But its a good story nonetheless. That’s my take.

And when I seen this in the Manga I feared for Momo being in that situation, Yea I said the same thing Why My girl Momo got to be put in this Situation.. Granted I would say its letting us know these ppl are Scum and we dont need to hold back. If u want to see if Momo will be ok Check Manga chapter 34.

2024-12-20 05:03:59 +0000 UTCHaving read the manga, I was pretty disappointed with this episode for a number of reasons, especially how the final scene with Momo was handled (the assault didn’t go as far in the comic as they did with the anime). Still looking forward to the rest of the season tho.
