There is a blood test but won't tell you if it is because that one or another that you had in another part. The only way to confirm would be to take a sample directly from the lesion part and check that the virus is there. There are some antiviral pills like acyclovir, famciclovir and valacyclovir that can help to prevent to spread in other parts. They are very effective but you need to start taking it immediately.
