Yea that part was a bad translation. Regulus is dead he has to stop his Heart to Use his Authority, He died from a Heart Attack. Rem is Next Season.

When he gives his heart to his wives he’s permanently invincible because their hearts beat for his, but when he has his heart back he can only be invincible when he stops it, and he can do it only for a split second. Every time you heard the heartbeat he stopped his heart to brace the attack that was coming, when he hit the ground he stoped his heart, but since he kept falling deeper he ran out of time and that’s why he ended up with all the bones broken, when he started drowning he did it again but since he still remained under water he ran out of time again and ended up drowning.

I'm anime only, but from what this episode said, it seems his authority has two parts. 1 he can stop his heart to freeze his time. This basically makes him invincible when he makes his heart skip a beat, but it’s also temporary. 2 he can transfer his heart to his wives, allowing it to beat in their chest, and giving him infinite invincibility.
