2024-03-30 15:15:26 +0000 UTCMan , it's a shame so much is going on (reaction wise) right now. The best episodes of this Cour still lie before you, but this episode was one of my favorites. It's because of Captain Komamura , his story is quite sad. Some people like to say he was tricked - but I don't believe so. He didn't ask for specifics, he only said he would do anything. His rage and desire for revenge blinded him so much that he didn't ask for the specifics of the deal. If he had, maybe he'd realized that he could have contributed far more without that particular power. It was a little screwed up, but it's a real life lesson - "the devil is in the details".

Komamura came to him wanting to learn the technique. It's not like he manipulated him into giving up his heart. He gave komamura want he asked for and benefited from it

2024-03-30 05:50:35 +0000 UTCBasically the old Wolf tricked Komamura so he can expand his lifespan by eating Komamura's heart filled with revenge, also all this time Komamura wanted to face Yhwach with his new form (he would lose obviously) but since she defeats Shinji, he had to face her and I think he thought that he could defeat her and then go against Yhwach since he didn't know all the details about that technique
