As for the girl with the crows I think she is either a ghost (possibly a victim of Ruby and Aqua’s dad), a goddess, or some sort of spirit that lives in the area. Either that or a psychic who can astral project her consciousness to different locations. One thing she said that interested me was that she learnt more information over time. So she isn’t necessarily all knowing and therefore can’t tell Ruby everything because she doesn’t have the answers.

2024-10-08 16:03:37 +0000 UTCThe thing that surprised me was that Ruby and Aqua’s father was apparently the same age as Ai. Maybe even a year younger - around 15. I’d always assumed he was an older veteran in the industry - maybe even married with kids - and was afraid of his relationship with Ai affecting his career. Which was why he set her up to be killed. I suppose even at 15 he could have been a teen idol and worried about his career. Funnily him being so young actually makes him seem more cold-blooded to me. An older person would have had more to lose - reputation, family, career etc. - and could have had Ai killed out of fear and desperation. I don’t buy that motive with a 15 year old kid.
