On Saturday, February 10, 2018 @ 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, February 11, 2018 @ 2:00 p.m. the Riverside Philharmonic Presents “Animatus Eventus” an all animation program with live musical accompaniment. It will feature the premiere of Mark Watters’ original score for a newly restored Alice’s Little Parade, completed using the funding raised on this Patreon site.
Music to entertain the young and the young at heart, with a unique concert celebrating the music of cartoons including “Alice’s Little Parade,” “Felix goes to Hollywood,” and others, orchestrated by some of Hollywood’s top cartoon composers, like Mark Watters and Charles Fernandez.
Plus: Animatus Eventus (Cartoon Suite), a three-movement symphonic work by Charles Fernandez based on original material with nods to cartoons from the last 80 years, including classic cartoon footage shown on a large screen.
