Yes, I am hoping that the Japanese archives start to look more closely at their collections. I believe that more will surface around the world as the story was picked up by many media outlets including BBC, CNN, and papers in Italy and other countries.

Beyond the excitement of the discovery itself, I'm hopeful this could lead to further finds. Now we know at least one Oswald cartoon was available in Japan as a 16mm film, as a Mickey title (!), it's seems likely there were more. Perhaps a search for "Mickey" titles in Japanese archives, museums and collections could uncover more lost Oswalds cartoons or scenes.
