It has been a terrific year and next year is already shaping up to be wonderful as well. I wanted to take a moment to extend warm wishes to you and yours for the Holiday Season. This past year we were fortunate to find a portion of the Oswald cartoon NECK 'N' NECK and we continued the search for others lost Disney cartoons and films.
Recently, I was able to locate some lost footage showcasing the Disney Studios and some of the artists. Attached is part of a clip of Walt Disney pitching storyboards for the weather films, which were made at the Disney Studios in 1943 for the U.S. Navy. This is a portion of outtakes from the March of Time newsreel that was sponsored by Time magazine and shown in movie theaters. Although silent, I hope you enjoy this clip as there will be much more to come in the New Year including some rare footage of animator Fred Moore working on a military training film.
