Hello fellow translators,

The last few months I've been busy with my full time job. That's because I have to change my working terms from part time to full time to be able to stay in this country. It is not easy to live in a foreign country as an expatriate.

But even though I'm busy. Of course I still make time for my hobby.

The following is an update for August 2022.

LingvaNex translator added.

LingvaNex is a unique automatic translation machine. They offer on-premise servers. And the price of translation is the cheapest among others, which is $ 5 per 1 million characters (compared to DeepL : $ 20 per 1 million characters).

As of version 4.8.31 Translator++ supports LinvgaNex web UI(AKA. unlimited free version).

Baidu Translator updated

Since Baidu changed the way it handles web APIs, all nodeJS libraries for translating using Baidu's web UI can no longer be used. But don't worry, because Translator++ supports translation with a free and unlimited web UI.

Did you know that Translator++ has a feature to combine text before sending it to a machine translator?

Sometimes game developers split a sentence into multiple lines to fit into a dialog box. But almost all machine translators consider one line as one sentence context. So sentences can have different meanings when translated as several lines instead of one line.

For example, take a look at the phrase “口紅” (kuchibeni).

When translated as two lines:

When translated in one line, the word is translated correctly as “lipstick”

Translator++ can automatically combine lines of sentences, translate them and divide them again according to the number of lines in the original text.

In Translator++ Version 4.8.31 this feature can also be used through the grid's context menu.
