She could feel movement around her knees and feet. She could feel intent.
She dared not look down just yet, partly out of exhaustion, but mostly, out of dread. An emotion the half-orc girl hadn't allowed herself to give into in years.

The second one, but as I had to Google what it meant, I like "tentacles" as a shorthand 😅
