Had worked on Your Fantasy Harem, just need a little break from Frost x_X
So i am still aiming for that Playable Preview as my next release, no worry its comming, i just needed to do some animations to not get crazy from seeing only code the whole day...
So whats new?
New Walk and a brand new Run and Jump Animation for all kittys :3
They are still a bit rough, but never did a feline running animation before, the next one will be better! :3
Also "Remastered" the three base Feline Models,
They are now working completley different, let me explain.
In 0.8 of Harem, all Felines are Unique Characters with Unique Skeletons,
this means every feline has unique animations and can not share animations from other feline base models because of the different bone structure (Mainly bone Names).
Because the bone positions are not too different it is possible to use just one base model and change the head shape with Morph targets.
This means now, that All felines can play all animations of Feline characters! I will use the size of the character to determine the Animation set, and not anymore the Race of the feline.
+ as extra, they now have complete Morph target support :O
Also they have got new Eye models,
In 0.8 they are using simple spheres with the Eyedetail model,
Now they are using a Complex eye model with dynamic Pupils.
You can see it much better in this video, notice how the pupils are changeing size and reflect light:

Next i would really like to do a little customization feature for the Kittys,
so i can generate "In between" variations like a Liger or Sabertooth.

PS: The Wiskers are currently missing, i want to try building a "automatic" system for spawning them.

In that first video, her fur looks so handsome! I love the shine and dark warm tones. I continue to enjoy your bright happy expressions too. The tiger's walk cycle is fun to watch too.

Your words are 💖 I make the best game I can do, I have so many ideas and it's already much more advanced than 0.8 And with the run animation I was thinking the same thing and I reskinned the front paws and polished the run animation. Will do a video when I finished those fluffy balls I am currently working on 🙀

Something in the moving animation is still a bit off, but i know it‘s very hard and probably there will be many updates on it too ^^ Keep up your great work! 👍

2021-05-11 00:32:48 +0000 UTCThe middle Part oft the cat body looks a little bit to small, normally it has to have the same size than the backside of the cat. So it looks a little bit ugly. I don't know if anybody else have seen that.
