black & blue UPDATE (start of scene 14)

YAYY! 5 new pages! :D And… if you read very slowly — that’s about one minute of reading time! 🙈

Man, being a comic artist is such a tough job sometimes. An entire week of work for one minute of content! Well… still better than being an animator, right? Lol.

AND hey — over 500 people are reading this! That’s 500 minutes of reading time total! 👌🏻

Finally a scene change — a new background! Truly balm for my artist’s soul. And GREEN instead of blue! Even though, fun fact, not too long ago that used to be considered the same color. :D Did you know that the ancient Greeks didn’t distinguish between green and blue? For them, it was just one color — different shades of the same thing. That’s why ancient texts sometimes talk about a “beautiful green sky.” xD I love that kind of stuff!

Not a lot happened on these pages yet — this was more of a broad introduction to Andy’s world. Apparently, he lives high up in a fancy apartment building. NICE! Not bad for a former street kid.

What’s coming next, though, will be much more interesting: you’ll get to know Andy better — both personally and “professionally” (if you can call it that XD). I think after this short scene, he’ll appear in a slightly different light again. There have already been some heated discussions about him, his goals, and his brutality, but… as a Maus character, of course he has more sides to him, and you’ll soon see them. :3

I’ll try to keep it brief though. Each volume only has around 150 pages, and I’ll need most of the rest for Derek and Gogo. The chapter cover already hints at a development there… ö_ö

I LOVE uploading pages right before bed! Then I can wake up to comments in the morning! 🖤💙 I’m not sure what you could even say about these pages (bohoooo), but please leave me a comment if something comes to mind! XD

Boah, Leute… Comiczeichner ist manchmal SO ein beinharter Job! Eine ganze Woche Arbeit für eine Minute. Naja, immer noch besser als Animator, oder? Lol.

UND man muss ja bedenken, dass über 500 Leute das hier lesen. :3 Das sind dann insgesamt 500 Minuten Lesezeit! 👌🏻

Endlich mal Szenenwechsel, ein anderer Hintergrund – Balsam für meine Zeichnerseele!

Und GRÜN statt Blau! Obwohl das vor nicht allzu langer Zeit die gleiche Farbe wie Blau war. :D Wusstet ihr, dass die alten Griechen z. B. nicht zwischen Grün und Blau unterschieden haben? Das war für die einfach die gleiche Farbe – nur ein anderer Ton. Daher ist öfters mal von einem wunderschönen grünen Himmel in alten Schriften die Rede. xD Ich find das so großartig!

Viel ist ja leider auf den Seiten jetzt nicht passiert. Das war eine großzügige Einführung in Andys Lebensraum. Offenbar lebt er in einem fetten Hochhaus weit oben in einer schicken Wohnung. NICE! Nicht schlecht für einen ehemaligen Straßenjungen.

Was jetzt aber noch folgt, wird deutlich interessanter: Ihr lernt Andy ein bisschen besser kennen – privat, aber auch „beruflich“ (wenn man das so nennen kann). Ich glaub, nach dieser kurzen Szene wird er wieder in einem etwas anderen Licht erscheinen. Es gab ja schon früher heftige Diskussionen über ihn, seine Ziele und seine Brutalität. Aber… als Maus-Charakter hat er natürlich noch weitere Facetten, die ihr jetzt kennenlernen werdet. :3

Ich versuch mich allerdings kurz zu halten. So’n Band hat nur um die 150 Seiten und ich brauch die restlichen zum Großteil für Derek und Gogo. Das Kapitelcover deutet ja schon eine Entwicklung an… ö_ö

Ich LIEBE es übrigens, Seiten kurz vorm Schlafengehen hochzuladen! Dann hab ich immer die Hoffnung, nach dem Aufstehen Kommentare lesen zu dürfen! 🖤💙 Ich weiß zwar nicht, was man groß zu diesen Seiten schreiben könnte (buhuuu), aber bitte schreibt mir einen Kommentar, wenn euch was dazu einfällt! XD
