Thumbnail Process
Added 2024-10-04 18:54:56 +0000 UTCI got frustrated and scrapped the old goth girl drawing I was doing. So I guess I'll walk you through how making a thumbnail goes :)
1) I dedicate a whole day to thumbnails. Thumbnail days are my favorite days. I usually get 2 done or most of it at least. I try to teach myself a little something different every time to build my skills whether that's a body part, an angle, etc.
2) I referenced a photo of myself looking down at my phone since I've never done this angle before. If it takes too long then I might go a different direction because idk how to draw hair falling from that angle but I'll try!
3) I pull up a reference of my character so I just picked the last goth girl vid I did to get the details right
4) I pull up another window for YouTube vids because this is going to take hours. Currently watching penguinz0 playing 12 minutes (which I played before and it's such an Interesting game). I usually watch documentaries or YouTubers that I enjoy.
**I use a Wacom tablet to draw. Hopefully will invest in an iPad one day so it makes my process easier and takes less time since I have to rely on watching my screen instead of the tablet. I also use Painter Essentials 8 as my program and I'm testing out the Hej Stylus program used to draw straighter lines.
Hopefully you find this cool or interesting :) I take a lot of pride in being a one man show. Although I hate how much time everything takes. That's basically my whole week for 2-3 videos ๐ฎโ๐จ I'll see you guys very soon ๐ค

2024-10-04 19:13:49 +0000 UTCJesus I never realized there was a whole lot just to making a thumbnail and the fact it can take weeks just to finish that's crazy but then again as you said you half to check to see if the drawing is perfect and it seems there can be no room for errors thats crazy, our girl be working hard for us to bring out all these audios and amazing thumbnails just please dont overwork yourself wish ok wouldn't want you getting exhausted, and hey if I was good at this kinda stuff I'd totally help you out with making thumbnails but I'm terrible at art almost failed it in HS so yeah haha, keep it up queen your doing amazingโค๏ธ๐
