I’ve always had a deep connection with fighting games. Something about them brings me closer to my true essence. (Well, technically Streets of Rage is a beat’em up game… but they’re fighters, so… 😅)
Even though I’m no longer a martial artist, the philosophy behind it never left me. It still lives in the way I move, the way I train, and the way I face life 😊
That’s why every time I cosplay a fighter, it’s not just a character… it’s a part of me 🥰
And Blaze is one of those characters that hits right in the heart (and it's been requested for years 😂)
From the iconic Streets of Rage series, Blaze Fielding is more than just a fierce ex-cop. She’s elegance and danger in perfect balance. She fights for justice in a world ruled by chaos, and she never backs down, no matter how dark the streets get.
Speaking of darkness...
This shoot was done at night, in a very short and revealing outfit 😅 so we had to move fast and stay safe 👉👈 Amanda brought her boyfriend to help with lighting, and he’s a police officer, which made us feel safer during the whole session. Unfortunately, Edu was working that night, so we didn’t have an extra person to handle my phone 🥺 That’s why there’s no backstage content for this set 😭 I couldn’t leave it filming us from afar for safety reasons.
But I promise the results were SO worth it!
(But I filmed a few short videos and there will be a cute selfie pack + vids too 🙏)
Hope you enjoy this tribute to one of the baddest queens in retro gaming history, and to the martial spirit that still burns inside me ❤️🔥
(Now I'm back to replying yesterday's comments 😭)
