The animator's everyday life

I wanted to write this post to share with you the technical details and difficulties I have to face while working on my animation.

I originally started working with animation in Adobe After Effects, but I couldn't figure out how to attach the figures to the bones there. If I could do that, it would make my work a lot easier. And since I work with raster images (most programs work with vector images), it is very difficult to find tutorial videos about them.

Then I looked at the program Dragon Bones, which solved this problem, as I thought.

So, I learn a new program, spend time on it, enjoy my life, everything goes as it should, but gradually during the process some minor problems, bugs, and shortcomings appear here and there.
At the moment when I save the test work, the program intentionally worsens its quality.
I'm browsing all sorts of forums trying to solve this problem, and nowhere, literally, all over the Internet I can not find a solution to this problem.
Then I go to the official website of the program and realize that it has not been updated for several years.

For me, this was a very unpleasant moment because it turns out that all the time I had to spend learning about the new program was wasted.

And when there seemed to be no more hope, and I had to go back to the old long way of working on animation, on youtube I came across a video of a cool dude who very clear step by step explained the solution to my problem with Adobe After Effects.

That means I can now do skeletal animation in a program I already know quite well. Yahoo!

The best part is that hopefully, it will be faster than usual.

With this small example, I wanted to show how some seemingly simple things like animation can be unexpectedly very difficult to bring to life.

P.S.: Now I'm working on the animation with new knowledge, and I'll be sure to release it as a big spoiler when I'm done.
