Imp robes, furniture, and lighting practice

I thought the imps should get in on the whole monastery thing and get some monk robes of their own. I went through a few other different designs with varying degrees of lewdity until I landed on this design. As if she's trying to not be completely lewd but can't quite help herself. I still need a proper detail pass and to go back and do all of the wrappings up but I think this gets the idea across.

Also furniture! Mostly textured and ready to go in game. There's a quick detail pass on the bed and the tiny stool but they're mostly done.

Then some lighting practice. There's so many ways to light things and it seems like everyone has a different style and way of doing it even though they're using the same tools. I still have a ton to learn and practice but I like to think I keep getting better with each iteration.

And a bit of writing! I have the chapel stuff outlined and mostly written and I need to get it into the game see how it works out in the dialogue tree.

Oh for the non-human NPCs? Yeah I completely agree but also you nailed why I haven't done that yet. The animations would be similar to how human on human animations start floating or clipping. I have some ideas on possible fixes for this but it's something I'd need to research and experiment with and that's a bunch of time that would stop development on other stuff. There's also the armor sets to consider. With just one body type on NPCs they're a lot faster to make outfits for. Human outfits take an extra chunk of time to make and then test all the body types. But this is something that is on the "wouldn't it be awesome if..." list. That list is pretty much if things get to the point where I can pay someone else to help. At that point then adding a similar character customization system to all the NPCs would be really cool. And at that point once the body types and customization stuff is set up it's relatively trivial to let the player choose to play as an imp or minotaur (other than needing to add dialogue options to reflect those choices). But I completely agree it's just really a matter of resources at this point.

It would be cool if the NPC's proportions were varied/randomized. So some of them are skinny/fat, bigger/smaller boobs/butts, skin color variations etc. Not sure how much more work this would entail as I'm sure clipping and other animation related issues might arise. But just an idea.

Nice. This is interesting because I think it'll all start getting very meta. Like the game world and the factions within the world can add context right? Certain factions (inquisition) will frown on transformation and corruption and try to fight + control it. But other factions will embrace it. Then given that in game framing the player will get to choose how they feel about transformation / corruption stuff or how they choose to roleplay their characters playthrough. Are they playing the chaste paladin of the people? Or the pawn of demons that is there to twist and corrupt and pave the way for the demon hordes? Or have they been infected with vampirism or lycanthropy and are no longer in full control of their own actions? But then the meta part is really letting the player choose how they feel and want to play. Instead of telling them - this is specifically one thing. Like "you should fight against being transformed and having minotaur anatomy" instead letting the player decide how awesome / not awesome or desireable it is to have that transformation. Lol, sorry. Rambling thoughts and this all feels a bit too abstract for my brain after drinking so much coffee today :)

Your mention of the lady imp trying not to be lewd, but perhaps subconsciously doing so is a good enough excuse for me to type out some patterns that I've noticed in corruption/growth stories. Be aware that they often overlap, or that one causes the other. So, here they are: *Failed containment - self descriptive, this can be in reference to quarantine zone breach or as simple as a breach of clothing. I've found that this is the most common type (waggles eyebrows mischievously). *Succumbing after a long resistance - in this case, the resistance is of the individual's own mind. The force pushing the change can either be exterior source, or an interior source. An example of an interior force is, say, a chaste succubus' desire for sex. - Feral instincts take over: a subcategory for where certain instincts are strengthened to the point that they override executive decision-making. Whether this is an elevation or reduction should depend on the culture that character belongs to. *A change long denied - in this case, the person in question wants the change to happen, but some exterior force is denying this from happening. *Acceptance of self - similar to succumbing after a long resistance, except instead of the mental walls crashing down, the change is welcomed. I envision that this can only occur after some heavy conversation, recontextualization, and performed by someone with great powers of persuasion. Maybe you'll find these patterns helpful, or maybe you'll move beyond them and try something entirely new. These're my thoughts, what do you think?
