Added 2024-08-26 21:07:20 +0000 UTCSorry for how tech bro-y and ugly this thumbnail is I really couldn't think of anything better but the good thing is that it worked and this is so far the most successful video ever released by far which is incredibly surprising.
This video was my "obligation" to NVIDIA for the trip to siggraph as well as the 4090 (don't worry it's my genuine thoughts and feelings). I expected this video to do pretty poorly but it would be worth it for the opportunities the better gpu would unlock -- thankfully I got all those things and a best performing video, what a deal.
With this release I'm back to working on the particle system video on iterated function systems and shapeshifting fractals. I'm currently considering delaying the release of it to October a bit in order to make the video extra special as I also plan on doing a merch release with it. By extra special I mean try and make the video how I would like my videos to actually be with more advanced tech such as rendering billions of particles instead of millions. We'll see how that ends up during my research and development period though.
As usual, thanks so much for your support! This video was a bit selfish of me and I feel it's a disservice to you, so I really appreciate it.
