Help me pick a title? Gamer Hannigram AU~
Added 2023-02-16 22:03:59 +0000 UTCMy usual technique for coming up with titles is to make lists of anything that pops into my head and eventually one starts to stand out... Some of these are so funny to me tho lol, I don't know what to pick ;o;
Damage Per Second is my favorite, I think... But also Pacifist Run is very funny since this is a no-murder AU... I don't think I can live with the punny ones but the tone of this comic is so bizarre, maybe it needs a silly title?
The problem I've run into since I started drawing this AU is that, even though I've been playing video games since I was a kid, it's always been very casual. I'm not really immersed in that culture. So trying to click into the language and culture of a more hardcore gamer mindset has been difficult. It's weird because it's such a silly AU but it's become one of my hardest to write? It's almost done though and I'm pretty happy with the structure of the story, I just need to take some passes and figure out the janky dialogue. As I complained on twitter, I struggle with making Hannibal and Will speak more casually and using slang. Their characterization is also pretty different. I don't know if they sound like themselves yet.
This'll be a weird one! I hope you folks will enjoy it though lol~

I'm super excited for this no matter what you call it. "I can feed the caterpillar G-Fuel and I can whisper 'git gud' through the chrysalis, but... what hatches, follows its own nature and is beyond poggers."
