Hello!! I'm back from a restful and uneventful vacation, ready to work and keep you all in the loop on my PROGRESS and HAPPENINGS....ON THINGS.

At FlameCon in NYC with @itsureisliz. This was SUCH a fun convention. I'm glad I met up with so many of you!! Yelling about recent comics and recommending other gay hockey stories was my favorite thing.

Nominations! CHECK, PLEASE! was nominated for both a Harvey Award and for an Ignatz! Both are comics industry awards and I'm super grateful for the recognition. I'll find out if CHECK, PLEASE! is a winner during NYCC (Harvey) and after SPX (Ignatz)! No matter what, I'm thrilled to be in such good company. Really, check out the lists.

CHIRPBOOK.  I've started planning a compilation of Bitty's best tweets. I'll be working on this project throughout all of September and into October. So I'll FINALLY have something to stream. 🙏

Livestreams. Will resume in September! Apologies for not having an actual scheduled one in August.  BUT I'd like to do one on WEDNESDAY at 6PM CST!

Sticks & Scones....Final Edits. I'm getting the first physical proof in my hands in a few days. I'm so hyped. I can't wait to squirrel away in a cafe somewhere with a pen and go to town. ALMOST there. :^)

SCAD??? I'm doing a mentoring program at SCAD this October! This means designing workshops and doing a presentation on my career and what I've learned since graduating. I'll let patrons in on the process of developing my speeches/classes. (PROFESSOR NGOZI ACTIVATE.)

Q & A From Discord

• Will we ever find out what jack texted bitty after their first kiss? Yup.
• Will we ever get another insight into the track list of Bitty’s pregame playlist? ...Yes! If all goes as plans. (I'd like to include them in the Chirpbook, but we'll see.)
• Is there a place where all the extras (drawings from twitter, tweets, all the extras on the site, etc) either are or will be compiled somewhere? I don't have plans to compile all of the extras, but I'm working on compiling the tweets (and a few of the extras) into the Chirpbook.
•  After CP ends sob, are we getting the softball comic or the superhero comic? SOFTBALL COMIC -> UNTITLED YA GRAPHIC NOVEL -> [POSSIBLE NDA PROJECT]  -> Superheroes. I think many of these will be out simultaneously. Guys, lots of irons in the fire.
