Project Yesenia. Hoorah, 50% of pencils for my next graphic novel are done! And guess what: turns out that drawing 150 pages of comics makes you better at drawing comics? Who woulda thunk. If you've read Check, Please! then you know how much my character designs can shift over time. Check out how different my pencils from November are from my pencils from this month!
I'm so glad I'm not inking these pages just yet. CHI-CHI AND FLIP LOOK TOTALLY DIFFERENT....
Kickstarter. The two most immediate items on the docket are (1) jersey edits and (2) signing ~9000 bookplates. Yeah. I'm going to watch a bunch of movies and space these out over the course of MANY WEEKS. Actually, I'll either be signing 9000 bookplates or 9000 "tip-ins" which are printer pages that I sign and then send to the shop. AAGUGGHGH
