I've been ever so slowly working on a little comic idea I've been tinkering with for a long time now. Last time I really attempted to make any was about 6 years ago so those skills really have a thick layer of dust.
So here's a very rough idea of the first page... hoping the others don't take quite so long to sketch out!

Here are two characters, one old and one new who are getting better introduced to my little menagerie. Astrophel is still a little in development as I refine his personality and styling, but Shadow is just a cleaned up design on an old concept that's been shelved for a few years now!
Very recently I learned of a community event called "Artfight" where artists simply draw each other's characters in an effort to push a little meter one way or the other based on team participation.
Needless to say, you'll likely be seeing some random character art come up in recent days, all of which are designs I'll credit to their ori...
So glad I decided to take this from Traditional to Digital, I feel like I could really dig in and give it the love it deserved!

I finally got around to drawing Maire's Parents, Her oh-so naive and ditzy mother and the Father Maire would 100% refuse to accept that she's the spitting image of.
As satisfied as I was with the Sketchbook drawing, this is one I really wanted to finish digitally so that's in the works!
As much as I love designing and playing spellcasters.... Their spellbooks are another story!
It's been almost a year since Lora was initially conceptualized, and some say her spellbook is still completely neglected....
Took a smol smol break to be kind to my arms after all the MerMay drawings and give attention to some background projects and hobbies…
