Intrusive Thoughts - WIP 1

The new poll anim preview is here at last, might be the first widescreen animation in a bit.

The shot's gonna have two of the goobers in view, Damian's part is still not preview worthy so I cropped it to just Aleks for now.

Also the annoying beeping is just timing aid for recording irl refs, I'll get removed when doing the audio.

Since I got that mirror rendering tech from the previous animation, it gave me an good excuse to do more thirst trap-esque renders and disguise them as research. Don't tell anyone.

Bran animation - WIP 3

Last WIP for this one, now including the extra scene at the end. Still needs polish and the ear sim at the start but the whole scene is in place now at least.

In other news the plushie has finally received it's fist production design, I’ll confirm it right after posting this.

In other news, the poll animation has been expanded into a proper scene. The VA that voiced Aleks is gonna do the new lines, can't wait to share it.

The new animation is under construction, in the meantime...

People sometimes lament I don't do more risqué stuff, since I don't have the animation previews ready here's something to remedy that fact instead.

Also, this was a good opportunity to mess about with my lighting and photo editing workflows.

I've hired a voice actor to record the lines, so I'll animate the face as soon as I get them and can synch the movements correctly.

The rough is mostly done. It's the longest anim I’ve ever worked on, easily.

 Still missing head movement cause I need to have the re-dubbed audio first to match the head animation to. I'll start looking for any good va's right away.

The 4K version is still rendering, the unusual vertical aspect ratio makes is so I have to render the vid in 6160x4096 which is wild.

I've already got half the work done in UE as well so the full anim is probably gonna be out in 2 days tops, here's a little preview:

 Never spent so much time modelling a ceiling before that's for sure. Might still tweak the audio a bit too.

Aleks plushie renders!

Here's the concept/reference renders for the Aleks plushie, next up- the actual plush announcement animation after which this boy will finally become marketable.

This was a collab between me and my artist friend Regil who did the nice shading on top of my lineart, it's been nice to finally draw again.

Here's the actual full animation WIP at last, including the beautiful flip itself. Gonna have to re-do the audio layer since I added extra bits and there's a noticeable sound cut.

Finally finished all of the Kendo outfit parts. This was probably the most complex outfit I've made yet, really happy how it turned out.

In other news- the plushie collab is going well, I might start working on a lil announcement anim soon.

Holiday-ish break and billing pause!
