Final demo for mesh hair

I've got an effect that I think will work using basic blender tools. Here's the example hair dropped on my Anya model's head. This will be shown in the first 60 seconds on tutorial #4 which I have started recording! 

Hair Test - free version #2

Didn't like the last hair texture so I'm trying something different. Normally I do texture work in photoshop but this is a procedural method. Same geometry as test #1 so it's nice and light.

This is a test of an easier and faster method of mesh hair. It's super low poly but has detail with normals. With this stylized look I think it's not bad. What do you think?
