Here's some notes on drawing the booty. I'm a firm believer that understanding the bone and muscle structure helps improve drawings. Even if you don't see the bones underneath, they still effect the outer surface, like at the hip and the dimples.

Art Tip: Bending the Leg

Hi everyone,

Here's some examples and notes on bending the leg. The most important take away is to know that the quads and hamstrings are opposing muscles, so when one is flexed, the other is relaxed.

This was done in blender with a little post processing in clip studio paint. The animation was broken up into 11 different parts animated individually.
