I love Ruby, she's one of my oldest original characters! I made her before Osric and Xerxes actually (!) When did SoulCalibur 3 and 4 come out... I remember playing as her with the custom character mode so I must have made her around 2006 / 2008 :)

She used to use a whip and was sort of a cool beast tamer with a 'nightmare circus' aestheti...

This scene is here because, much like trauma in real life, you often get sucker punched with 'incidents' on the road to recovery. Don't worry, there is a nice ending to the book after this :)
