After the General Meeting (pictured above) the rest of my first day in Elan blended into a gray haze. I guess that is how your mind reacts when put into an environment so foreign and strange. It just seemed to shut-off, as if its only goal was the self-preservation of my sanity. I never thought a place like The Elan School was even possible.

I am a part of some ex-Elan groups on various parts of the internet, this was recently posted and I think it describes how many of us feel. (Note that not everyone was sent to Elan by manipulated parents, that was just one of the many ways that Elan filled its houses.)

Thoughts on "The Ring"
I saw the Ring on many occasions, even as late as the year 2001. It was a really sick thing to watch.
