The cropping is intentional.

I'll say this again, it's extremely difficult adhering to the official LEGO color scheme. For instance, that Ganondorf from the previous update? Immediately after the screenshot I found a better color for his skin.

Ganondorf's suit design is weird, like, is he wearing a full-body suit under that brown chest piece? 

But it doesn't matter, (if) when official LEGO Nintendo merch appears, Ganondorf will at least have a more basic design I hope.

I honestly have nothing to say, just that creating LEGO Pokémon figures basically equate to "creating LEGO toys, not minifigures".

Though I think that was it for the four-legged Pokémon, if I remember correctly, the rest of the other Pokémon are humanoid.

Development will slow down to a "slower-than-snail" pace. I'm actually going to have to think cleverly on which color I'll use out of the LEGO color palette.

I only have Ridley, Duck Hunt Duo, and Lucina designed, plus Banjo-Kazooie and Mii Fighterw which I mentioned in some previous posts.

Gosh, designing Fire Emblem minifigures is difficult. The amounts of belts, odd clothing, and the limited LEGO color palette makes things a ton more difficult.

Ridley and Duck Hunt Duo were easy though...

Yea I'll be leaving the character's faces blank, it'll have me be more precise drawing their faces for when I eventually color.

With designing new minifigures come designing how the new pieces would work.

I had this idea with the tailed characters to have it be attached to the hips, and that you could turn it.

At first, I just had the idea of drawing the tail behind the LEGO chest. (like many furry minecraft skins i've seen) But after a while, it just didn't ...

Don't worry, I was a bit impatient with coloring, only Banjo-Kazooie and Mii Fighter are colored in. I'm still, like, less than 25% done with lineart.

I can actually get the chance to redesign some characters I made back at the first time I made the LEGO Super Smash Bros Ultimate art.

Also, I'll actually go ahead and use the LEGO color palette. Oh yeah, did you know there was a LEGO color palette? I didn't.

Take this as an extra, as this is something I don't really want to share.

Because A. This tutorial has been done before if I remember correctly, so having 2 public tutorials would be redundant

And B. I find my way of explaining to be bad.

And of course, Sonic's design came from LEGO Dimensions, because why would I change perfection?

New project

Designing's going to be hard, and I basically have to make completely new toy designs for the non-humanoid characters. (note Incineroar)

The bigfigs I've seen had edges and flat surfaces in some parts, so I'll design some of the characters via that.

What do you think? I'll also have to create the background so that'll be painful, but...
