I decided it was a lot easier to get the sketches in if I went ahead and finished up the render, here it is! I'll be doing a bit of paintover on this, but a lot less than I originally thought I might have to.

Another decisive winner! Local Delicacy won by a significant margin (dare I say a landslide), so it looks like sushi's on the menu this holiday season! One more stream and we got this in the bag! You'll note the sauce isn't present, that's because I want to do it as a separate set of layers which comes last. I'm really liking this new shading method, I'll be using it for illustrations going forward.

I got a bit burnt out in stream today, decided to make a few doodles relating to some characters in a game I play. The squirrel is Momo (yes, that's a boy, trust me), and sprinkled throughout are other playable critters. (Li, Ao Bai, Zi Xiao, Nona.. feel free to look them up) Not terribly spicy, but it was fun to doodle.

I think this might take a couple more streams than originally planned. Just something about the proportions and the feel of it that feel off to me...
