They are casting an Asian woman, 20s-30s for AKITA, the film's female lead. Open casting but they would like a black actor, 40s-60s for BLIND MASTER, Snake Eyes's mentor. They are also casting an Asian male for a character called ROSADO that isn't based on someone from the G.I Joe canon unless it's a codename.

Looks like they are giving Prince Eric more of a... character in the live action film. They are giving him more of a personality and there's a subplot about him wanting to be a better leader than his father was.
UPDATE: He'll have his own song too in the film called YOUR VOICE (taken from the broadway version). Guess this is why they want...

It's official, trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on October 21st and they'll announce tickets going on sale on the 19th for the 21st.
