Hi everyone,

I'll be undergoing another surgery this coming Monday to address carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel issues in my right hand. It's the same procedure as before, just on the other arm. I'm feeling a bit anxious, but I have a good surgeon and, having been through this already, I know what to expect.

My post-surgery follow-up visit went well. Sutures were removed, yaaay. The carpal tunnel surgery was endoscopic, so the cut on my wrist is barely noticeable. The one on my elbow is more substantial, but it's also looking good. The doctor was pleased with how well everything was healing and my overall range of motion. No physical therapy require...

Surgery Update

Hi all. Surgery went very well. I'm back home and recovering now. Managing pain with ice and meds. Dr. was able to do minimally invasive procedures so the bandaging is extremely light, allowing me to start working on range of motion right away. No grip strength at the moment but that should come back with time. Anyways, so far, so good!

It's finally happening. My carpal tunnel and cubital release surgery on my left arm is scheduled for December 3rd. I'm feeling pretty anxious about the whole thing, but hopeful! My doctor tells me I should be back up and drawing after about three weeks. Wouldn't that be a nice Christmas present?
