The Rise of the Exalted alpha is coming along nicely.
Conquest and construction now work more or less as designed, the cathedral is looking ritzier by the day, and the button that used to immediately capture every village on the map... doesn't do that anymore. Art is still placeholder, but that will largely be resolved before 0.1.

I've tried to gold plate it in a lot of different ways recently, but it just doesn't work as a concept. That's not something that can be fixed by more features...

At long last, here's the final release of the whips and chains patch! This one finishes the training system, and fixes some minor bugs in other areas.
This also marks the last real feature update. If all goes according to plan, there will only be two more updates before 1.0, both focused on bug fixes.

The manual training patch is going well. Procedural animations are functional (ranging from impacts to orgasms to passing out when overtrained), tools leave the right marks, and characters react appropriately to your actions with sounds and subtitles.
The remaining 40 or so tasks are more or less evenly split between 3D models for the tool...
