The dual motor setup has now been scrapped due to yet another VESC failure. This being my 3rd VESC V4 failure whilst using it within the rated limits. I have since got my hands on a VESC 6, which is apparently more reliable when using 12s (50.4v) and can also handle a constant 80A, instead of the old 8s (33.6V) and 50A that I was previously using. ...

Follow on from the previous post, I've hand cut/drilled the aluminium section of the new dual motor mount! It allows the motor belt tension to be adjusted as the belt stretches over time. Will also remove any flex and should help with motor cooling. Hopefully will have it mounted and working by the weekend and get the video sorted soon!

Decided to mount the motors parallel to the rear fork as there was an issue with one motor coming in contact with the back of my foot whilst pedalling. This also uses a 6mm aluminium sheet to mount the motors to, which will provide added strength and adjustable slots for the belt to be tensioned.
