So, with the May Patreon complete, it's time to look in to the next picture. If people are cool with it, I'd like to try a fairy I've not drawn before. I'm thinking Iridessa or Fairy Mairy, although others have suggested Vidia in the past. Also, I know I've been drawing mostly sexy nude and pin up arts but would people want some more hardcore work?...

Tink and Fawn

I think... I think this one is done. I feel like I'm getting better with painted backgrounds. It's not something I'm super strong with so I always aim to get better at it. Tink and Fawn came out just as I wanted though. I'm very happy with them. How about the support crew? Do you all approve?

Good day everyone! Just passing though with an early morning update so you can see the progress that I've made thus far with the pic. That is all... as you where.

I've got the next stage in the drawing process to show off! I've taken the suggestion to move fawns foot so it's more stretched out under Tink and I do think it works better. I think I'll start to move on to colours and such next. Things are looking pretty good on this one. Any other comments or feedback?

Sorry for the away time people. I've been drawing the request pictures and dealing with other life stuff. Nothing bad, just run of the mill things that sometimes take away my drawing time. I managed to sneak in some time though to rough up the new picture. I don't know about you, but I like where this is going. Any thoughts? ^_^

Word on the street is that I sent around last months PSD (Fawn single) instead of the Nyx and Fawn PSD. I apologize and will correct this when I get home from work. Sorry people!

Happy Star Wars day everyone. Sadly, we don't have a fairy day. Anyhoo... I'll be moving on to the third pic of Fawn and X fairy. This time though I do think I'll include Tink in it. Remember these roughs? The bottom one is the one on the docket unless people have other ideas or suggestions.

Here's something a bit different. I felt that the BG on this one was kind of similar to the last one. Not that that's bad. I do rather like it, but I wanted to see what the two characters looked like if the setting was more to the inside of a fairy home/hut. Both versions will be available once the rewards go out. Which do you like better?

I've got the line work done finally. Going from the rough to the clean lines, I'm always afraid I'm going to lose some of the magic or energy in the pic. Everything looking okay so far?

Sometimes when you're in the middle of a current drawing you get ideas for ones down the road. It can be exciting when they all come in a rush but you have to stay focused and finish the piece you're currently on. I goofed up the last picture and had Fawns wings totally behind her, not realizing that the front most wings would be in front of her pony tail. I'm so embarrassed that I didn't catch this. Here is the correct version. Glad I caught this before I sent out the rewards.

Fawn Portrait

I've finally finished the first Fawn pic! It's just a simple skirt peek that I hope is on the same level as my Rosetta picture. I learned a lot about how the character is constructed and now I feel more confident to move on to one of the other ones with her and Tink. I hope you like it and thank you so much for your support. Getting closer! Painting hair tonight (Photoshop is making my browns look odd though). Skin is pretty much done. I thought it might be fun to take a screen shot of how I work.

Things are moving forward with this quite well. I've laid down some rough colours, shading and lights. I really like all the warm colours with Fawn. I hear all your feed back and so I've gone and made adjustments to some of the more popular sketches to help with the decision making. I also made a new one that allows for a much better... view of Tink and Fawn as they share a moment. We're getting closer ^_^
