Commissioned Sketches
2 in 1.
Just a preview sketch of two next upcoming arts. Having a plan to upload tomorrow more detailed verse of the both drafts.

Oh no! Another experiment went wrong, and brought 'terrible' consequences!

Hm... the one piece is done, but this is only the one part, since the commissioner want's more. Therefore, it will be turned in to the series, but very short one. Maybe two or three images only. I really don't plan to stuck too long o...
Sketch #106
Another commission in a progress. I hope to finish this one soon as possible, and make my current queue for one more position shorter.

Ah, my first publication in this new year, and this is about finishing one off my ordered arts! Due the MASSIVE amount of the details on it, drawing this scene got very hard for me with spending a...

Oh, that's big catch! Will the vines be able to lift her?

Hah... 1 of 3(4) pieces from this commission series is done!
The final look of the first frame turned out much more better than I expected in the first day when I planned to draw this series for the commissioner. I thought that it would be somet...

Two results in one post... what else to say?

Oh well... making all these lines was super annoying, but I'm glad that this hard stage of work is passed out successfully.

Spending my time with a million lines. Huh... The global amount of the details is really huge for me in this one. Not so many, as it was in some of my sci-fi themed art, but still enough to make me sweat while I'm doing it.
Between my workdays, I've got one day-off right now, which I decided to spend working with this sketch. By the end of...

All the new feelings around are so intensive. So pleasuring! So exciting! I can't resist it any longer!

No wait, I need to keep my mind clear. According to the species of this odd plant, I'll be stuck here... oh no, forever? If no one will find me, there's a risk that the plant will use me as a nutrition so...

Can't believe that it's actually happening! The plant is completing its sealing process on me! Did the last chance of getting free is just vanish like that?
No matter how I move, it doesn't seem to help me escape at all! The plant's material only repeats my movements, but still holds me tight and obviously doesn't want me to g...

No! This is going to far!
I'm not that happy about my fate of being plant! Not in such way!!

Just another lovely piece is done! If I will be lucky with my time management, maybe today or tomorrow I will upload one more continuation of this series. In my plan, I have more 3 frames/shouts in a development, ...
Don't step off-trail! (panels 1-3)
Huh? Making a shortcut on my way to the one of the hidden secret beaches was not the best idea. And this brings risks not only that you canβt find the beach, but so that you cannot return back if something would happen!
The predicament where you have to deal with exotic fauna could be one of those cases. Luckily, this ...

Got a chance to make basic shadows for the few frames from this series.

And this is it, as I planed: finished another sketch for the second commission from my current queue.
Making this one was a pretty easy than previous one due the simply plant's design. Most of the time of sketching this time has been spent to th...

Slowly getting back to commission drawing, while I still can.
About the current sketch. Fist at all, I pretty quickly choose what character's poses should be in this piece. Yep, in a one moment I have to change some of the character's details (like the changing position of the legs, arms, or tail) but it still didn't take a lot of...

Meet the new exotic plant species! This is the first time when I decide to mix two things together in one comics, like goo and plants. That was curious experiment, but after finishing the all panels, I find this concept too complicated for regular drawings. Yes, I have a plan to use some of the panels as YCH model later, but after that, som...

Ola!
First at all, sorry for my prolonged inactivity here, but there were solid reasons for it.
The last passed time was enough crazy for me. Since the beginning of this year, the covid restriction measures started to ease down in my region, and slowly getting things back to the how it was before the pandemic, I was able to get back to my ...
Sketch #103 flat colours
I think this is the point where I will take a pause at work on this series. At this moment, I've done quite a lot of work already (most of the work, I would say), and the next step I'll have to take to complete this series, is shading and also drawing background.
BUT, it can wait for a while, since I already spent a lot of my time on this ...

Another post for this day, or should I say night?)
Anyway, this is a basic sketch for one of my personal arts, which I decide to make for myself, outside any commission activity.
There is some additional info about this plant and how I come to it and who inspired me for sketching this scene, but more details I will publish with a next ...
Unexpected Accessories
And here it is, the coloured version of the art I made for one of my regular commissioners, which I talked about in my previous post.
I think I should point out that the peculiarity of this work is that I used coloured shadows for my first time, instead of just using transparent "black".
Of course, I had to make separate ...

Additional bonus work for one of my regular commissioners, who supported me for quite a long time. This is not the final version of the art, since as you can see: there is only linework and shading. I'm gonna publish a more finished version of this piece here later (but it'll be soon, no doubts!).
Funny fact: this is actually my truly firs...

woooah, given the total number of details from the character's armor, I couldn't call this piece as "easy" for myself!
This is not my first sci-fi commission, and making this type of art always takes a lot of time for me, but I'm happy with how the final result turned out.
2022-05-10 23:12:11 +0000 UTC View PostSketch #99 super slow progress
Perhaps this art will become a guarantee that in the long run I will no longer take any commissions with sci-fi theme again. Even the simple colouring takes a lot of time, due the amount of all elements.
Work with a background still in plans, so this is not complete art, yet.
