I like to keep objects I'm going to manipulate a lot in low poly. The tail and hair for instance aren't in their final form quite yet. I'm going to keep moving them around. If it is in a low sub division it is much easier to manipulate and dynamesh as I go.
I plan to give her long talons on her hands, and a sort of sleek Egyptian vibe.

I am so in love with this model so far. She looks so powerful and graceful! Lots of details and adjusting to be worked out, but man. I haven't been this happy with a sculpt so early on in a while.

6.14 inches tall and 6.7 x 8.67 inches on the horizontals. This can be scaled of course. At these dimensions it will accommodate a die with a diameter of 1.12 inches.
Little more progress! The pond is a bit too steep! The will be fixed~ I'm also making the pond deep enough if you wanted to add resin.
Something a bit different here! The dice will fall through the trunk and into the pond. There are panels in the trunk to make sure the dice actually turn around.
When dealing with things where the dimensions matter, I just eye ball it in the sculpting stage. I then move it into Meshmixer to check that the dimensions are appropri...
