New WIP - 1999 Jaguar XK-R

A criminally unappreciated car in sim racing. The only other version I can think of was in Gran Turismo 6 with no interior.

So I decided to change that. 

Early progress at the minute but its in the game and its moving round at least....so theres a start.

Think it needs its sister car which is even rarer.....

Range Rover Classic 3.9 EFI V8 - Update

So probably the most important improvement I could make, especially for those driving in 1st person or VR.....the steering wheel has been remodeled.

Car is correctly scaled. I hate when mods are not scaled correctly. 

The wheelbase should always be correct as it effects not only how it looks but physics.

You'd be surprised how many modders don't bother to do this. Do not be fooled by flashy phot...

Ferrari 512 S Berlinetta Speciale - Update

So the car now has the correct wheels, 

The cockpit has been tidied up, textured everything in black leather like the real car

The rear screen window now has been opened up and most importantly ive dropped a correct 512 engine in

New WIP - Renault Twizy F1

another exclusive

small car so progress moving along quick. 

all real world stats, so electrics engine speed limit 68mph.

full release will include an additional data.acd with a faster top speed so that these can be used on longer tracks.

New WIP - Alfa Romeo 8C Tazio

This car has never been fully done in Assetto, there's a rare mod not publicly released with no cockpit as it was never rendered in the prototype design.

So I've started building a cockpit using the 8c as a basis.

Decided to give it a better steering wheel though as it should seeing as it would be the top of the range model

The gas turbine powered land speed record car of the 1950's

Very early WIP.

Ive given it a gas turbine engine sound but not sure how to program 270 bhp
at 28,000 rpm :D

Mostly needs visual changes as the physics are pretty much done. Main issue is low quality steering wheel. As its exclusive to the car its not like it can be quickly changed with a Sparco/Momo etc. I will rebuild it completely. Excited for this one

BT46b - Update

The cars nearly done, big updates again.

- Finished modelling the cockpit. Very accurate to the real thing. 

- Rebuilt the clocks again with correct  arrows and glass.

- Redone all textures in 2k/4k 

- Baked in AO on all textures inside and out

- Redone all shaders

- Reduced file size by 1/3

BT46b Update

The steering wheel has been remodeled and is now a much closer match. The correct gauges will now be built and side gauge installed.

So I've rebuilt the car again. 

Im using a lower poly model which actually looks better and has a much more accurate cockpit so win win.

New driver skins and helmets.

Lots of AO inside and out.

New shaders

Correct windscreen transparency

New Car - Quaife Escort (Early WIP)

So new car on the drawing board. A bit of an oddity.

I present the Quaife Escort. An Escort that raced in the GT1 class (Division A) in the British GT.

As well as being a totally bonkers proposition it also shares the distinction of being 1 of only 2 GT1 cars to have 4wd. (the other the Bugatti Eb110)

After many hours of frustration, the front suspension is now done!

Brabham BT46b Fan Car - Update

Phew!

After a big issue with the previous model I've had to rebuild the car from the ground up. The car model can now be aligned using data (from within CM) which surprisingly  a fair amount of cars even from Kunos cant.

Based on a new chassis the car now has vastly improved tyres.

Lotus 23B - Cockpit Update

Small but essential change as this was brought up during testing

The top lip around the dash has been made thicker, Small but quite tricky to do due to angles and depth etc, still  need to tidy up the double faces left over

Looks much better however.

Ultima GTR - Cockpit Complete!

Sunstrip now visible from inside the cockpit instead of a plain grey mesh.

Air vent now added around LCD screen.

Cockpit is good enough now to go.

Some final small changes to the skins and lods etc and this will be good for release.

Brabham BT46 - Very Early WIP

OK so for F1 fans and many others this is the holy grail of cars.

Its very early W.I.P at the minuite but the potential is there.

Its going to need a lot of work and is some time off.

However its loading in Content Manager so theres a start.

Ive even positioned the driver so this may see the light of day
