Something totally different

For the last few days I've been chipping away from simple, basic 3D models that I could add to an asset library and use as guides in arts; its fun to work on these, and they are also helping a lot to solidify the 'Odraani' (?) look .3.

Mind you, I don't know much about 3D modelling - more like, at all - so these models could make a real ex...

Shore leave - coloured sketch

Wanted to do some colours, as it feels like I gotten rusty lately. Luckily I had a rough sketch laying around that was perfect for colouring ^^

Trooper! First full body pic of a regular trooper I think! 

Did some redesigns on them for a more sensible, rugged setup! Tons of pouches for ammo, energy cells, spare air, food paste and so on.

This lass is the standard kit; heavier setups add a lot more extra armour, external energy supplies for weapons and such.

Super random warmup from the other day ^^' Wanted to do some Odraani stuff - more to come - and felt like drawing some vehicles for them! The first two, a personnel carrier and a your everyday tank were lush starters, but felt they are too generic, soo went with a more random, unrealistic design!

Shore leave

Despite what one would assume, the life on Scalló can be quite eventless; sometimes months pass between large tasks, and the ongoing security jobs can be done with shifting skeleton crews. The others can go on a well-earned shore leave; some go back to their native worlds to visit friends and family, some indulge in themselves in the big cities...

WHISPER on the move

WHISPER agents Elise and Yskra are on a mission to sabotage SHOUT operations by ... stealing/deflating all their boats. Such risky task is only for the most experienced divers!

Wanted to tweak Helena's looks for a bit now; the direction her looks evolved into turned out to be a dead end as her features were too angular, disjointed and very far from the snake appearance.

Can't say I'm completely confident in this new iteration, but it definitely feels more solid, I tweaked her head scales, rounded her brows a bit ...

Tank Filling

Patiently waiting for the slow, old compressor to wind up, Equipment Technician Dau is listening to to some chill tracks to kill time. Not really following the regulations of his past Odraani technician training, but nobody will call reprehend him for it on the Scalló

Odraani Spaceships

Odraani space vessels are characteristically bulky, over-armoured with bigger ships being submarine-like. They do not have any windows, not even on the fighters, as they present a massive weak spot on the hulls, instead, ships are equipped with countless sensors and camera feeds for the crew.

Pet peeves

Odraani mechanics are hardy people; having to deal with overcomplicated designs, cramped spaces, unmaintainable systems, and overtimes. They rarely complain though; the pay is solid, its easy to find employment, and you are unaffected by the squabbles of the commanding officers.
