I went with a red jacket at first, but it just felt way too overwhelming with the warm colors that she already had with her fur. I went the dark blue jacket to help balance things better and have the gold accents pop a little more. :3

Here's the model sheet for Coach! He's a big teddy polar bear, which is why the first pass I did of him (second image) was turned down. Most hockey coaches I'm familiar with are very disciplined and intimidating, so that's the direction I went with at first. In hindsight, I'm glad we didn't go that way!

This was a recolor that I did for Scott so it resembled his other character. I also made two sunglasses variations to go with it - up and down! I've included the WIPs in this post since there really isn't anything substantial enough to make a separate post.
(It's also pretty funny when he wears both of them at the same time lol.)

The mask colors I chose were representative of the color palette I had in mind. I then slowly proceeded from there! At the very end I nerfed the blue color channel and buffed the red one a tad so give the piece an overall warmer feeling.

You can see how I started over on this sketch once. The reason for that was because I felt it was going to look a little boring, so I redrew it and added some perspective to it the second time. However, I copy and pasted the original wolf face/head I drew because he looked adorable and perfect to me the first time. :3

As you can see I changed the dialogue a little in the first frame before posting the page publicly. I felt Nes stumbling over his words a bit by surprise felt a lot more natural, and made his overall statement feel less blunt/predictable!
