Another WIP of the poll winner, just trying to get this one done asap so I can post the new poll :) 

I've gotten pretty far with the shading, only got the candles and the pillow left to shade in the background, hair, a few crystals and maybe some more highlights on Elveren... and then there's the guy, ofc :) Even if he is just half a charact...

Ailene (WIP)

I've been changing the background over the past days, going for a warmer palette. This would be Silvermoon City prior to the war, I tried to portray this by replacing any green crystals with red ones instead :)

Ailene will be in blue, white and gold as before though ;)

Anuddah WIP of Ailene. I had a gorgeous blue and red palette in mind, but it turned out a little gloomy, so I think I'll be changing the color of the sky area to something brighter, maybe some golden, peach and orange hues... or just a summer blue :) We'll see! 

Ailene's a high elf, so I'm trying to avoid overly blood elven colors (a bit tro...

Did some work on this today :) I went back and forth a bit on the palette but decided for a purple/blue theme this time, I do quite a lot of red themed bedrooms ^^

Put colors on this in between other stuff. The background is just a placeholder, I don't want to overdo the sketch right now :)

I've always really liked the combo of darkish skin and light hair, so her original design didn't need much updates :)

Quick banner I did for a piece of writing - just ol' Elveren :) 

Didn't want to spend too much time on this so I did it with lineart and simple shading. Kinda miss this style sometimes, I love it, but it has its limitations.

Would have wanted to post something else today, but I didn't end up finishing it :( Ah well!

Here's another WIP of Ailene. I added a few more details on her outfit and in the background, but still figuring out a few more things :) I might use this for the next poll, we will see, I have a few pictures I'm debating between ^^

Trio (WIP)

Sorry for the sloppy coloring of the characters, it's literally just there right now so I can see the contrast between them and the other colors ^^

I changed the background since the last WIP, I wasn't happy with how it was turning out, it felt too cramped and I wanted to give the impression of a spacey room :) It feels pretty solid now though so...

Shaded a few things and added some effects, mostly background work :) It's progressing a bit slow when I'm only doing a few small things on it each day between commissions, but hey small progress is better than none :p

Did a few fixes to a sketch of Ailene :) The perspective is off, I need to figure out what to do with it :/

Been working on a few different things today, this was probably the one I got furthest on :) Done some more shading and highlights. Trying to use more textured brushes for skin, the smooth look I usually draw with isn't too natural and this seems to be working out well so far :)
