I went through a few colour iterations of this one but I think the cell rendering turned out well.

I drew a horse and a cowboy, and then decided to try out a background using just the.... lasso.... tool. And a smudge brush.

Uncharted Worlds

I’ve been thinking a little again about a project that began to sprout last year, and how much I like some of the ideas attached to it. This week I wanted to do a proper bit of painting, so I mused on one concept- that magic is raw and untameable, as devastating and indomitable and mysterious as gravity.
