I'm leaning to just not putting tattoos on Gore as it's another thing that'd make me dread having her in the comic. Like the braids/beads/undercut hairdo, the tattoos work better in an illustration than they would in a comic. This is a setup page. It's not really a page where tons happens, so those aren't normally that exciting as a reader... but Naoki needs to be there for the story. This page establishes that he knows Ran, but he's not going to push his authority to get his way.... also that he's away from her door for a while.
