Two videos hitting YouTube this weekend and one posting here tomorrow 😃 we weren't skunked but I was surprised by our unusual catch! We did take the hooks off and are leaving the lines unattended for the next 3 days. By then the forecast is showing a drop of 20° and it'll be in the low to mid 80s. Thank God.

Got a second line run and baited. Took us forever to get back to it after family stuff. We have a cold front hitting tonight that'll drop our next few day's high to around 76. Hoping it'll stir them up a bit. Double the hooks, double the fun, we're just about into the good season!

River is up 7 feet and has made the line hard to find, it's catching a ton of debris and storm fallen branches, and the higher current is causing the line to bow more downstream and lose its depth. The fish were in full nest mode here, but the storm water dropped the river from 78* to a chill 64*. Curious to see how this will effect the fishes. ...
