[Exclusive Access]: May 2023 Chibi Illustration

In past works I’ve had Gakupo, MEIKO, and Luka mess around with KAITO (affectionately), but less commonly the other way around.  The high bluffs in costal California gave me this silly idea, so I drew it. Poor Gakupo 🤭. (He’ll be alright, I don’t think Kaito would let him fall or get hurt).

The frills are a tedious but rewarding work 😩🙏. Staying true to the “classic” maid design I stuck with neutral colors for the outfits, so that the bright kitty omelette dish would be a nice contrast 😊.

Based on an Instagram reel I saw (in the attachment) ⬇️.
I often compare Gakupo to a big, affectionate dog and KAITO and indignant (but sensitive) kitty. So immediately thought of these two when I saw the video 😂.

I know it’s not visible here, but for this one I tried a different method: importing the base, lowering its opacity and then drawing on top of it, making some changes along the way. It seems like an easier alternative to attempting to recreate the base from scratch, something I tried last month 😂.
